The purpose of this project is to convince US Postal Service's Citizens'
Stamp Advisory Committee in Washington, DC to approve the proposed Inflammatory
Bowel Disease awareness stamp.
Procedure for signing the proposal on the net:
- Any US Citizen is eligible to sign on to the Campaign proposal, regardless
of their age, as long as they are able to understand what the IBDSC is and
what it's trying to acomplish.
- The Campaign asks that you try and explain the Campaign, form, and condition
(IBD) to every person signing; refer them to the web site: www.ibdcure.org
at your discretion.
- After you have finished signing the online proposal, we will personally
send all of the signatures you have submitted to the Stamps Committee in
Washington, DC.
- After you are finished with our e-signature form, we ask that you send
an email to friends and family members to encourage them to take the time
to visit our site to help conquer IBD. For a pre-written forward email to
send to friends and family instantly, please visit our email
sub-section in our action center.
Procedure for collecting signatures in person:
- Any US Citizen is eligible to sign on to the Campaign proposal, regardless
of their age, as long as they are able to understand what the IBDSC is and
what it's trying to acomplish.
- You must not alter the provided material in any way; copies can be made
at any time.
- The Campaign asks that you try and explain the Campaign, form, and condition
(IBD) to every person signing; refer them to the web site: www.ibdcure.org
at your discretion or via a Campaign card. If you are not present to explain
what IBD or the IBD Stamp Campaign is, please make sure that the introduction
letter is located at each signature station.
- After you have finished collecting signatures, please mail them back
