HOW TO TAKE ACTION AS AN IBD SURVIVOR:

The following assistance options are listed in order of priority:

Sign the IBD Awareness Stamp proposal, right here, right now, online.
Download a Starterkit from our Downloads sub-section to volunteer & collect signatures for the Campaign. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat reader, and would prefer to receive a Starterkit in the mail, simply email your full name and address to: starterkits@ibdcure.org. Please allow 1-3 weeks for delivery.
Write a personal account of your battle with IBD to the Postal Service's Citizens' Stamp Advisory Committee. These writing pieces will be kept anonymous if desired. We will then be posting these accounts on our website, as well as sending these bio/letters to the Stamps Committee to help them understand what we go through while living with IBD.
Write your local Representative and Senators to urge them to support the Inflammatory Bowel Disease stamp legislation.
Write a letter to tell them why there needs to be an IBD Awareness Stamp.
E-mail as many people as possible to tell them about the IBD Stamp Campaign [a pre-written letter is available for your convenience].
Make a donation to the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Stamp Campaign. We will be using these funds to cover internet & printing costs, postage, and other such expenses.
Contact media sources to help get the word out! [a pre-written press release is available for your convenience].
