Our strongest optimism lies in the future of the IBD Stamp Campaign. With volunteers across America, lectures being performed area-wide, and national media coverage, we can say with ease that we are doing very well considering how long we've been existence. We hope to expand awareness via our website, and recognize that the website is our single biggest step and accomplishment thus far. The website involves the quick interaction via the internet between individuals to educate each other on IBD. Our proudest feature of the website is that any single human (regardless of their age) currently residing in the United States can sign our proposal in a matter of seconds, and know that they are helping the millions of people with IBD worldwide without paying a single penny.

Our Mission:

You might've noticed that much of our website is covered with this logo: "Raising awareness, enhancing funding, intensifying research, and urging the acknowledgment & acceptance of an adverse condition known as 'Inflammatory Bowel Disease'..." The IBD Stamp Campaign hopes to first raise global awareness of IBD via a postage stamp in the USA. Other such conditions such as Breast Cancer and HIV, and more recently, Diabetes have been featured on US postage stamps. Each issuance of one of these subjects has acted as a "seed" in finding a cure for each illness.

With the stamp, the Campaign hopes to enhance the amount of funding put towards IBD research. The IBD Stamp Campaign expects a great amount of political pressure to be put on the pharmaceutical companies after an awareness stamp is issued. With that, the government should also follow in line in allowing more funding for research and developement.

With the enhanced funding, intensified research will be performed by major pharmaceuticals as well as private organizations.

Lastly, we urge the acknowledgment and acceptance of IBD. It's one thing to educate yourself about IBD, but it's another to accept it and put it to use in your everyday life. The Campaign urges the "acceptance" of this condition in the aspect of discrimination. Gideon, inspired by many accounts of discrimination in his everyday life, has included the crucial act of accepting one's adversity--and to not discriminate against those with IBD or any disability--in the Campaign's mission.

Some of Gideon's detailed missions include:
